About Carolyn Yi
Carolyn Yi, MCHS, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant practicing dermatology in Washington, D.C. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and then completed her master’s education in physician assistant studies at the University of Washington.
Her passion for dermatology developed after graduating from UVA, and she was fortunate enough to gain clinical experience while assisting dermatologists in D.C. and Virginia. After graduating from her physician assistant program, she pursued further training by completing a fellowship program with a board-certified dermatologist in Illinois. In addition, she is recognized as a Diplomate fellow by the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants for the successful completion of their fellowship program. She is currently licensed in Washington, D.C., and nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
She strongly values continued education so that she can carry out her mission to provide comprehensive care that everyone deserves. As a healthcare provider in dermatology, she is grateful that she has the opportunity to improve physiological health as well as emotional health.
